how does it work?

This style utilizes the ‘live’ natural edges of the selected slab(s) to create a void between two or more sections of the wood. This void is then filled with epoxy resin to join the pieces together into a single piece and mimic the appearance of a river flowing through the piece. These designs offer a high level of customization; pigments, dyes & metallic powders can be used to add unique colors and effects to the resin while some pieces may include additional elements like stones, shells, or other decorative items embedded in the resin to showcase. After the epoxy resin has hardened to a full cure, typically 3-5 days, the piece is cut, sanded and finished with the same craftsmanship, skill and attention to detail used in any of our pieces.
